Chinese brand Doublefish Table Tennis"goes viral"at the Paris Olympics
Chinese brand Doublefish table tennis takes advantage of the Paris Olympics to "break out of the circle"｜Brand value
In the early morning of the 27th, Beijing time, the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games will be held. Accompanying the Chinese Olympic athletes at the Paris Olympics are Chinese brands.
As the Olympic Games officially kicks off, Chinese brands appearing in Paris will also attract more world attention. What new changes will Chinese brands at the Olympics bring to this global sports event held every four years, and how can they rely on their strength to stand out?
"alone"
Exclusive level of official venue equipment
The roundness tolerance of the sphere does not exceed 0.04 mm, the elasticity tolerance is less than 4 mm, and the weight tolerance is less than 0.015 g... This is the accuracy of "PAR40+" (hereinafter referred to as the Paris ball) used in the table tennis competition of this Olympic Games, and the indicators are much higher than International table tennis. Official United Nations standard.
There are more than 30,000 Paris balls, all engraved with the "Doublefish" brand name. On July 17, France 2's "Evening News" column reported that the balls used in the 2024 Paris Olympic table tennis competition were manufactured by Guangzhou Doublefish.
"We have reduced the elasticity tolerance to within 4 mm, the weight tolerance to 0.015 grams, and the hardness and roundness tolerance to within 0.05 mm." Liang Zhixiong, assistant general manager of Doublefish Sports, said that for the Paris Olympics, Doublefish Sports not only transformed the production line , and also set up 15 production processes to repeatedly test table tennis balls, and "select the best 5 out of 100 balls for use in the Olympic Games."
In addition to the game ball, Doublefish also brought a surprise to the Paris Olympics. On July 27, the table tennis competition of the Paris Olympic Games will kick off in Hall 4 of the South Paris Arena. For the first time, a referee's stand with an automatic serving device will be used in the competition.
Doublefish Sports Event Director Li Yushan said that fierce smashes by athletes during the game will cause the table tennis ball to fly to the far corner or even out of bounds. In the past, the referee usually took out the new ball manually and threw it to the server. However, at the Paris Olympics, this tradition The operation will be replaced by a new auxiliary device - the "umpire's ball server". "This device, also from Doublefish Sports, will make its debut in the Olympics and become a new assistant for referees."
"With our overall technical level, we play an important role in the standard setting and technological reform of some equipment products, and our brand awareness among users at home and abroad continues to increase." Liang Zhixiong, assistant general manager of Doublefish Sports, said.
A group of Chinese companies, represented by Doublefish Sports, take advantage of a stage like the Olympics to provide exclusive professional sports equipment to make their brands "out of the circle" in the global sports circle.
As the exclusive supplier of weightlifting equipment for the Paris Olympics, the weightlifting equipment produced by Zhangkong Barbell arrived in Paris in early May this year. The barbells of this brand have a unique 45-degree pattern. Taking judo mats as an example, the product produced by China Taishan Sports adopts smart chip and flexible piezoelectric film technology for the first time, which can collect information on movement intensity, speed, trajectory and other information in real time according to the needs of athletes and coaches.
The T24 track bike developed by my country's independent sports bicycle brand Ruibao is made of T1100 carbon fiber material. The frame has a "dream" weight of only 1,150 grams, and the entire bike weighs only 9.6 kilograms. It is the lightest among similar products in the world.
